The brave souls in Saint Louis, Missouri learned this today. The Rev. Stephen Schumacher, a priest with the St. Louis Archdiocese tried to instruct the heathens.
Priest: “Go down to the St. Louis Cathedral and you’ll see some of the history..”
Response: “Eventually we are taking that too though”
The mob won’t stop with a few statues. They just want to destroy anything associated with God, those who did His will or just simply believe.
The Spanish Republicans saw no difference between the clergy, landowners, the fascist ideologues or the millions who just wanted to be left alone.

July 1st is the feast of Saint Junípero Serra, “Apostle of California”: Mallorcan peasant, Franciscan friar, priest, lector of philosophy at age 17, theologian, ascetic, missionary to the Sierra Gorda, Inquisitorial Commissary, and founder of ten Spanish missions in California, where he died in 1784.
Contrary to popular conception, he was a strict but loving guide and shepherd to his flock. He personally walked the 2100 mile journey from his mission in modern Carmel-By-The-Sea to the Viceroy in Mexico City in protest of how the colonial Spanish soldiers were mistreating the natives and hindering the salvation of souls.
