Between Frey’s and Becker’s work, it’s impossible to unsee the atrocities that are being committed on the US population every moment of every day. Yet we have so much Stockholm syndrome (perhaps by design...) that we are unwilling (or unable?) to really look at the state of our shared reality clearly.
