💪 Strong people make as many mistakes as weak people. Difference is that strong people admit their mistakes, laugh at them, learn from them. That is how they become strong. Richard Needham
افراد قوی به اندازه افراد ضعیف اشتباه می کنند. تفاوت این است که افراد قوی اشتباهات خود را می پذیرند، به آنها می خندند، از آنها درس می گیرند. به این ترتیب آنها قوی می شوند. 💪

3️⃣# Quiz: See it, feel it, learn it 🧠🍏🥕

🆕 Every now and then, we’ll post a quick quiz related to English language teaching methods and classroom practice. Just a little something to spark ideas, reflect, and maybe even challenge the way we teach!

Here’s today’s question:
▶️ Imagine you’re teaching a group of young learners, and the topic is fruits and vegetables. Instead of using flashcards or a textbook, you head to your kitchen, grab whatever real fruits and veggies you can find, and take them with you to class to use as teaching tools.

👩‍🏫 You let your students *see*, *touch*, and *maybe even taste* them as they learn the new words.
🌟 What’s this hands-on, real-world teaching approach called?

Drop your answers below! Let’s see how many of you get it right. 🧐

📹 How to engage students using different kinds of realia when teaching English?
👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇

💬👨‍💻 A little bit about this webinar : In this webinar, Bridge will also look at digital realia, including what it encompasses and how it differs from traditional realia. We’ll answer questions such as how teachers can determine which type of realia is better suited to their lesson or learners and how they can use digital realia most effectively, especially to introduce games in the online ESL classroom.

🧐 What’s *realia*?

➡️It’s any *real-world* object you bring into class to make a lesson click.

➡️Simply put, realia refers to authentic objects from real life that one uses in the classroom to teach a specific concept. Realia can be both physical and virtual, as long as it is something used in the real world (rather than created specifically for an ESL class).

🗂 Think:
- 🍎 fruit & veggies
- 🗺 maps & tickets
- 🕰 clocks, menus, toys… even their digital twins!

If it exists outside the textbook, it counts.
Use it. Touch it. Learn with it. 🌟

💠Realia is a real-life item, such as online teacher Sallie’s guitar, that is used to teach a word or concept.💠
