Dc jack insert korne pe laptop auto on hota hai but display aanese pahele off hota hai and amp 0.012 hota hai aur pwr sw me koi voltage banta hai.
Jab pwr sw ka mini board open korta hu amp 0.055 amp hota hai . maine magnetic sw (lid sw) ko open karke dc supply ko on kiya tab jake mera dc supply me 0.055 amp show kiya . maine lid sw ic ko change kiya problem solve.

Laptop open Kar k dekha to io aur Ram ic pe fungus tha clean Kar k resold kar k dekha to same issue fir Lpc check kiya ye sahi nahi tha gir tracks check kiya all ok tha fir
ram reset dekha to nahi ban ra tha back trace kiya ek resistor mila R410 pull ek side ban raha tha voltage  aur dusre side nahi to register replace kiya fir b same problem  ram ka coil pe voltage dekha to 1.9v ban raha tha Jo  k galat tha ddr3L hai Fir  ic ki input requirement check kiya ok tha ic change fir b same 1.9v ban raha tha PLT ALSO OK THA SAMAJH NAHI AAYA NEXT STEP KYA LU FIR ek working board tha same us ka ram ic laga k dekha to coil voltage sahi ban ne laga 1.3v fir b 7beeps solve nahi hua next bios kiya fir b same lpc io ki pins pe check kiya data ban raha tha
Fir clock k liye dekha io ki pin 2 pe idar kuch b nahi tha mil gaya fault is ko back trace kiya to ek resistor mila R1805 is pe dso se check kiya to both side clock ban raha tha par ye io tak nahi ja ra tha fir idar se sida io ki pin 2 pe jump Kiya case solve 💥 boom 💥 boom  Al humdullila display aagaya aur ramreset b ban gaya

13269-1 DELL 3542 , 7 BEEP ERROR , CULPRIT- LPC CLOCK

Then check core ic requirements
Vcc ok but
Cpu ic enable pin beep with low impedence
Back tracing and cut ✂️ en track and check output ok but input short.
Change core ic and joint track and check impedence high
Now triger board on and display also came.......

Today I got dell insperion 15 3558 no power

History, not used for long time and found no power

Mb part no. IRIS HSW
PCB No. 14216-1

As per history from customer that system not used from long time its but natural that battery main and CMOS are zero, more over as per my experience it was good reason to go for chek RTC section.

Checked: ampere on PSU shows .004 it indicate 3.3 and 5v ok no rusting or Corson found

Found : RTC_UX_5 ok , but SRTC_RST# found 2V only and RTC_RT# found .1v only this is a cause board not on it must 3v

Solution removed C1901 and C1902 Both capacitors and case done

It’s a simple case may take long time to solve but if we handle it by method it saves our lot time

moral of the story
if customer history like not used for long time then start form RTC Section if Step-down is ok
