Old footage of a fire at Valero’s crude oil refinery in Texas is being misleadingly recirculated as showing the Houthi strike on the Jazan oil refinery.

Visible damage includes what appears to be a direct impact on shelters used by @modgovksa RSAF F-15 aircraft, another impact on a nearby building or warehouse, and a burn scar close to one of the base aprons. Additional imagery also shows multiple burn scars across the base. One is visible on the roof of a building identified as the Air Base Maintenance Training Center. Separate @Nasa imagery indicates that Houthi strikes may also have hit oil and gas storage facilities at the Asir Central Power Plant in Abha. A fire hotspot was detected at the site after the attack. The imagery points to confirmed physical damage at King Khalid Air Base, while the full scale of damage and any effect on aircraft, base operations, or power generation remains unclear.

🇮🇷🇯🇴🇺🇸 The IRGC said it launched multiple ballistic missiles at Muwaffaq al-Salti Air Base in Jordan in retaliation for U.S. attacks on Iranian commercial and oil vessels. According to the IRGC, the strikes hit maintenance hangars, staging areas for F-35, F-16 and F-15 fighter jets, and aircraft shelters. Circulating footage appears to show several Iranian missiles scoring direct hits without being intercepted.

Iran’s IRGC released a video it says shows the moment its navy destroyed a U.S. Navy Saildrone USV, hull number 5838, in the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC said the waterway is under its control and warned that any “hostile presence” in the strategic strait would be targeted.
