Innovators' Track cater to those who possess an unwavering passion and commitment to their projects. It is designed for students seeking more extensive funding, mentorship, and opportunities to drive their projects towards commercial viability and societal impact.

How to Apply?

-Craft your Innovator Project Proposal using the provided template
-Submit your proposal via email to hcdang@ntu.edu.sg (Assoc Prof (Steve) Cuong Dang), ch0009da@ntu.edu.sg (Ms. Chang Wenda) and sfoong002@e.ntu.edu.sg (Ms. Foong Shirley)
-Teams should consist of at least 3 members, with at least 1 member from the EEE/IEM discipline

Maximum seed funding per team: 500 SGD

Maximum funding via Pitching Night per team: 2500 SGD

Project Timeline:
The project runs until the end of AY25/26 Sem 2. Selected teams will have to attend update sessions on certain weeks and showcase their work in a final sharing session with professors and fellow tinkerers.

Approved Projects receive the following support:

1⃣ Biochip Fabrication for Electrical Classification
By Assoc Prof Poenar Daniel Puiu

Key Tasks
Hardware Track:
• Handle device fabrication and polymer processing
• Design CAD components and PCB layouts
• Overcome practical challenges in hardware debugging and fabrication
ML & Modeling Track:
• Process and analyze measured data to develop equivalent electrical circuit models
• Perform electrical circuit simulations and model extraction from measurement data

2⃣ New Generation Invisible Headphones
By Dr Ge Tong

Key Tasks
• Identify and integrate DSP ICs, power amplifiers, and ultrasonic transducers
• Program the DSP IC and design the PCB to incorporate the system
• Basic electronics knowledge is required
