For those who didn’t know, we are EuroBronyCon! A community-based Brony convention in the heart of europe. It will take place in Vienna, Austria on 11. - 13. of September 2020. We, the Austrian Brony community, always dreamed of a Brony convention in Austria and if there is any point in time of this fandom when a new Brony convention should be started, it is right now!
If you love the Brony community as much as we do, you can help us to make this project as awesome and amazing as it should be.

This message is meant to clarify the current situation of EuroBronyCon regarding the Corona crisis.
To begin with, we can assure you that we are not going to cancel EuroBronyCon. But, we might need to reschedule the date of the convention due to uncertainties and financial risks of the current situation.
Since EuroBronyCon is an international community project, we are (like every other big fan-made convention) very much dependent on guests and attendees from other countries. Right now, it is not allowed to cross the borders of most countries in Europe and we really don’t know how long it will stay like this. And even if we are allowed to do an event like this in Austria again by mid of September, it doesn’t mean that all EU citizens are allowed to travel freely or even want to travel, because they still fear the virus.
By the end of April, we are going to decide if we will change the date of EuroBronyCon.
We are considering this step not just for us, but also for our guests, contributors, visitors and all of you who want to be a part of EuroBronyCon. We want any one of you to attend this event without troubles like traveling restrictions, problems with your hotel and flight bookings or mandatory face masks at the convention. So we would also ask you NOT to book any flights or hotels for now until our announcement at the end of the month. Additionally, our cooperation contracts with other events are obsolete now because they are getting canceled or rescheduled one after another, which makes it harder for us to book flights or accommodation for our guests as well. We will take the international developments of the following weeks into consideration for our decision and reach out to you again with the updated information.
Information for our applications:
Since the current situation brings a lot of uncertainties along the way, the processing of applications is currently on-hold. You can still apply for them, but it will take some time until you receive an answer. If you signed up for any of our applications recently or if you have not received any response so far, you will not get any approval until our announcement at the end of the month.
Informations for tickets:
If EuroBronyCon gets rescheduled, all tickets will stay valid for the new date. However, you are able to fully refund your ticket for any reason by contacting us via tickets@bronycon.eu. But if you want to support us we would highly encourage you to keep your ticket for the new date, because it would help us a lot.
