When it comes to training any Kata practical applications as a tool of spontaneous and natural practicing in a prearranged sequences of attacks and defenses meant to develop a proper reaction to quickly changing circumstances, master Kenwa Mabuni insisted that a perfect technique should employ three important elements Yo Ryu Bi. For the technique to be useful and most practical “Yo” element will be needed to put all of your effort and strength (mental and physical) into it along with a flowing rhythm of movement “Ryu”, and from the combination of both “Yo” and “Ryu” should become “Bi” or beauty. This is what will ultimately come out if you have followed the two previous steps. This completes the technique, making it perfect. Everything should be practical with flowing and also being utilized with an elegance.

Kaatsu (加圧, often styled as KAATSU) is a patented exercise method developed by Dr. Yoshiaki Sato that is based on blood flow moderation exercise (or vascular occlusion moderation training) involving compression of the vasculature proximal to the exercising muscles by the Kaatsu Bands.

KAATSU is Japanese and literally means "additional pressure" -- additional ("ka") pressure ("atsu"). Kaatsu bands also calls “Blood Flow Restricted” or “Occlusion” bands.

Shitō-ryū is a combination of 4 main karate systems (Shurite, Nahate, Tomarite and Hakkaku Ken “Crane Fist”), which attempts to unite the diverse roots of karate. On one hand, Shitō-ryū has the physical strength and long powerful stances of Shuri-te derived styles, on the other hand Shitō-ryū has circular and eight-directional movements, breathing power, hard and soft characteristics of Naha-te and Tomari-te (泊手) styles.
Shitō-ryū also has the major and popular techniques of Crane Fist such as Nipaipo, Papuren, Haffa and in its official syllabuses. Shitō-ryū is extremely fast (Speed=D/T), but still can be artistic and powerful. In addition, Shitō-ryū formalizes and emphasizes the five rules of defense, developed by Kenwa Mabuni, and known as Uke no go gensoku (受けの五原則), Uke no go genri (受けの五原理) or Uke no go ho (受けの五法).
