The maps show how Beechwood Farm has changed from 1950 to the present day. Overall, Beechwood farm, which used to be oriented to agriculture, has become more accessible with the introduction of roads and parking space, more entertaining with camping fields and holiday cottages, and greener with solar panels at the expense of the land previously occupied by sheep. The only features that remained unchanged were the fresh produce section and farmhouse.
In 1950, there used to be an old track crossing the farm, but it has been modernized recently, making the area more accessible for cars. The biggest change happened when the land which was used to raise sheep in the north-east, has been converted into camping fields, two parking lots in the west and east, and solar panels making the farm self-sufficient in energy resources.
The barn, located on the east side of the farm in 1950, has been relocated to the area between farmhouse and vegetable section to make way for holiday cottages. The western side of the farm which includes fruit trees, soft fruits, and vegetables remained in their original position despite the introduction of a small farm shop in the fruit trees section.
