๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ | #BREAKING In the coming days, Serbia will sign major contracts for the procurement of additional advanced air defence systems and new defence arrangements. Serbian President Aleksandar Vuฤiฤ‡ declared that the overall security situation compared toโ€ฆ
๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ | Note: Dunav Intel would like to clarify that President Vuฤiฤ‡'s recent announcement regarding air defence systems is more likely related to Israeli systems such as the Iron Dome.

In February of this year, Dunav Intel reported that Serbia had secured both the Iron Dome and the Iron Fist systems.

As for the remaining developments, it remains possible that advanced Chinese military assets have been delivered in the past 4 months.

In any case Dunav Intel, as always, encourages all parties to await further information and official confirmation before drawing definitive conclusions.

๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ท | In recent days, images of Bayraktar TB2 drone Ground Control Systems (GCS) located at Zagreb airport have been published on regional military forums.

Dunav Intel has geolocated the images, confirming that the systems were spotted just a few meters from the area where the Croatian armed forces station their Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles at Zagreb's airport, as reported in Dunav Intel's previous post.

The Ground Control System is the ground-based unit responsible for the command and control of the TB2 drone during flight operations.

Usually, the Croatian drones operate in 4 main areas: Zagreb area, Slavonia region, Krk and Cres Islands and Eugen Kvaternik military poligon.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ | Israeli business jet landed in Belgrade, possible Israeli delegation/intelligence in Serbia?

Aircraft Bombardier Global 6000 (Reg: M-ARVA, Hex: 424B2) departed from Tel Aviv and landed at Amsterdam on 13th April. The next day it landed at Belgrade's airport.

As already reported by Dunav Intel, the aircraft is reported to have been used in 2025 for diplomatic talks in Qatar. On other occasions, it is said to have transported Israeli delegations. It is believed that the aircraft may be linked also to Israeli intelligence (no official confirmation).

This is the 3rd time in 4 months.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ | รakovica airport: Expansion and Blackhawcks helicopters?

Satellite imagery suggests an expansion of the รakovica military airport. Works are visible along the northern part of the airport, where changes in the terrain indicate a possible expansion of the paved area.

Rectangular shapes visible in the imagery may indicate the intention to construct helipads for future helicopter operations. The airport currently hosts Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drones.

The potential infrastructure expansion appears consistent with so-called Kosovo's announced plans to acquire Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk military helicopters.

According to Defence Minister Ejup Maqedonci, so-called Kosovo has already laid the groundwork for operating the Black Hawk, and the contract with US company Lockheed Martin-Sikorsky is expected to be finalized soon. Priลกtina had first announced its intention to acquire the helicopters in December 2025.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ | Egyptian military aircraft SU-BTY just arrived at Batajnica Air Base, Serbia

Dunav Intel can now confirm that these flights involve directly Chinese military assets (more info within 24h).

Yesterday, Egyptian Air Force military transport aircraft #EGY1903 (Ilyushin Il-76MF reg: SU-BTY "Betty") landed at Batajnica military air base in Serbia.

Flight timeline:
โ€ข 17 April: departed from Egypt, heading toward Urumqi (then turned off the transponder over Pakistan, as always)
โ€ข 21 April: briefly visible at low altitude over Oman, likely landing either in Dubai or in Western Oman area before continuing toward Cairo
โ€ข 22 April: arrived at Batajnica

The route mirrors patterns previously observed throughout 2025 and 2026.

For over a year, Dunav Intel has monitored multiple military and private cargo flights arriving in Serbia via similar corridors (typically involving Egypt, the UAE, and occasionally Pakistan), with Urumqi frequently appearing as a strategic waypoint.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ | Members of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP), the Criminal Police Department (UKP), the Counter-Terrorism Service and the Security Intelligence Agency (BIA) have detained a 20-year-old man, identified by his initials F. Dj., on suspicion of participating in a war or armed conflict in a foreign state.

The arrest was carried out on the orders of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.

During the arrest, authorities seized a Ukrainian military ID, a full camouflage uniform featuring Ukrainian army insignia, a helmet equipped with a built-in camera, and documentation detailing the suspect's enlistment into the Ukrainian armed forces.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ | #BREAKING Serbia is reportedly moving toward the acquisition of the Chinese HQ-9B long-range air defence system, according to Military Watch Magazine.

The HQ-9B could fill the capability gap left after Belgrade reportedly abandoned plans to procure Russian S-300/S-400 systems under Western pressure.

Dunav Intel had already received similar indications during the summer of 2025, pointing to long-term planning for expanded Chinese air defence integration within Serbia's military structure.

In parallel, Dunav Intel has also monitored in recent months an increase in military cargo flights operating on the Urumqiโ€“Batajnica route, with repeated landings at Batajnica Air Base, suggesting sustained logistical and equipment transfer activity.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ | #BREAKING Possible imminent new delivery of Nora B-52NG howitzers to Azerbaijan

On Monday, a truck transporting Serbian-made Nora B-52NG self-propelled howitzers on Tatra chassis was spotted near the Nikinci military training ground.

The desert brown livery is the same as that used on the Nora B-52NG delivered to the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on Victory Day, as published by Dunav Intel in the first week of November. The proximity to the military training ground suggests the vehicle may have been tested before being transported out of the area.

The video was submitted by an anonymous user to @vihor_rs a close Dunav Intel collaborator (follow him on X and Telegram, it is a very good channel of news in Serbian language).

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ | In the past, Azerbaijan has confirmed an order for a total of 48 Nora B-52 systems worth โ‚ฌ339 million. As previously reported by Dunav Intel, Baku has shown strong interest in the Serbian defence market, particularly for the Nora B-52, and even conducted exercises with the same systems in October 2025.

As repeatedly highlighted by Dunav Intel, Azerbaijan has become an increasingly present actor in Serbia, especially in the energy and defence sectors. Azerbaijani army troops are currently training at Serbian military base "Jug" as part of the Platinum Wolf 2026 exercise.

Furthermore, the number of flights operated by Azerbaijani cargo airline Silk Way Airlines has increased significantly, suggesting an increase in bilateral deliveries but also a possible triangular pattern of defence-related deliveries to 3rd countries.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ | Egyptian military cargo aircraft SU-BTY Ilyushin Il-76MF landed in Serbia today at Batajnica Air Base, marking the 9th known delivery since January 2026.

Egyptian Air Force military cargo aircraft SU-BTY (Reg: SU-BTY, Hex: 0101F5) landed at Serbian Batajnica Air Base. The aircraft landed in Urumqi a few days ago.

Egyptian private company Tucano has confirmed it is transporting special cargo from China to Serbia, as reported by Dunav Intel months before the announcement.

In recent weeks, multiple sources have announced that several defence systems will soon be delivered, or have already been delivered to Serbia, further strengthening Serbia's already established military deterrence in the region.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท | #BREAKING Tango Six: Serbian-based company Utva to produce Rafale cannon feed system components

During Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, Serbian MoD Assistant Minister Nenad Miloradoviฤ‡ confirmed that an industrial cooperation agreement between Yugoimport SDPR, Utva Aircraft Industry and Dassault Aviation includes the first outsourced production package linked to the Rafale multirole fighter program.

The component allocated to Serbia is a complex ammunition feed assembly with a guiding corridor for the GIAT 30 M791 aircraft cannon system, to be manufactured by Utva Aviation Industry (Panฤevo). Officials described it as the first qualification-level production step for Utva under Dassault standards, with additional outsourced packages expected in subsequent phases.

The agreement also foresees delivery of a limited production batch for integration into Rafale aircraft.
