Speaking of books, one — only one — of the reasons why Continental-Conscious has been relatively quiet recently is because a serious handful of books is coming together:

Askr Svarte’s Towards Another Myth: A Tale of Heidegger and Traditionalism is in the final editing phase. This is by far the most difficult work I have ever translated. I think the title says it all.

Foundations of Eurasianism - Volume III is also in the final editing phase.

The submissions for Volume II of Passages: Studies in Traditionalism and Traditions are pouring in.

Daria Platonova Dugina’s third posthumously assembled volume, A Theory of Europe, is in yours truly’s translating hands. The first part consists of her lectures, essays, and interviews pertaining to the European New Right; the second part is a showcase of her analysis of French politics.

A Polish monograph on Alain de Benoist and religion has found its way onto my desk for translation.

Last but not least, a very special Serbian book on the Vinča culture and European civilizational identity is, although long delayed, slowly but surely making its way into English.

A reminder: Why do we humans in the Kali-Yuga read books? Why do we translate? Why do we publish? Not in order to accumulate “information” or “theories” or “theses”, but for the sake of transformation, for engaging in the ancient sense of theoria — traveling to behold and participate in an Event and to return to tell of it — and for facing life as it unceasingly calls for our understanding, interpretation, and engagement.
