@Droidspaces
- feat(ui): dedicated Terminal settings page - font size, custom font picker with live preview, dark mode toggle, manual keyboard toggle, optional confirm before closing a tab
- feat(app): install a container rootfs to any directory, with filesystem capability probing for the chosen path
- feat(app): experimental 64-bit backend toggle for 32-bit userspaces, plus an update-available notice fed by the latest GitHub release
- fix: restart now honors every CLI flag exactly like start; command locks left over from a previous boot are treated as stale
- fix: prefer busybox consistently for loop mounts and image tooling; drop sparsemgr's mkfs fallback and loop path length check
- fix: fail closed in the ds_peer_in_pidns peer namespace guard
- fix(app): Reinstall Backend runs more than once, RAM chip survives 0MB, SELinux row no longer flashes "Checking" on launch, one shared AppStateViewModel across Home/Settings/Requirements
- refactor(ui): full design-system pass - one dialog shell, one SectionHeader, one type scale, unified radii and spacing, legacy colour constants and dead components deleted
- app: no more container name length limit, NixOS rootfs tarballs accepted, swipe-to-dismiss snackbars, UIJ permissions and battery exemption helper, IME activation for 12-key terminal input
Plus the usual round of translation updates, UI polish, and under-the-hood refactoring.

Artix Linux (Arch without Systemd) is now available in the rootfs repository.
This means users with older kernels (<= 5.4) can use it as a replacement for Arch Linux.

We've introduced a new feature that allows you to run sandboxes like Flatpak and Docker unprivileged containers with a single toggle!
Previously, Flatpak and unprivileged containers didn't even work properly, even if you enabled full privileged mode!
But now, everything has been fixed. No need to enable privileged mode either :)
1. Enable the "Allow Sandboxing" feature.
2. Start the container.
3. Sandboxing works out of the box, just like it would on a real Linux PC! 🥳
In these screenshots, I'm running the Flatpak version of Chromium and VS Code :)

VirtualAP v1.8.0 has been released!
For those who don't know what VirtualAP is, it allows you to convert your mobile device into a fully functional Wi-Fi router by creating a bridge with an OpenWRT Droidspaces container.
Since Droidspaces containers have no virtualization overhead, your VirtualAP hotspot will achieve the maximum throughput of your Wi-Fi hardware, potentially even better than what Android provides.
This is the first time such an integration exists in the world. People have tried to do this in the past with the help of QEMU, but we both know QEMU TCG performance is poor, isn't it?
So, that's it. You can find actual screenshots of the setup you can do with Droidspaces x VirtualAP from here.
If you love VirtualAP, don't forget to leave a star :)

For those wondering how to use the Droidspaces x VirtualAP setup, it's easier than you think.
1. Make sure your kernel has Droidspaces support, and that Droidspaces is installed and running in Daemon mode.
2. Open Droidspaces, go to the rootfs repo, and install the OpenWRT container with the networking mode selected as "NAT," then start it.
3. Install VirtualAP, grant it root access, and open it; it will start to install the backend.
4. Once you land on the VirtualAP homepage, fill in your hotspot name and password properly.
5. If the OpenWRT container in Droidspaces is really running, you'll see two tabs called "Interface" and "Managed" in the middle of the VirtualAP app.
6. Tap "Managed," select the OpenWRT container, scroll to the bottom, and start the hotspot!
That's it! No extra configuration is needed via typing scary commands or configuring everything using LuCI. VirtualAP handles everything with the tap of a button :)

I'm just a student from Sri Lanka. Here, the traditional path is to do Advanced Levels and go to university. So, it applies to me as well. I did my Advanced Levels in the Physical Science stream. Since I'm very passionate about Android low-level stuff, I…
