Hyundai Mobis has partnered with Zeiss, a leader in optics technology, to develop a groundbreaking holographic windshield display for cars. This futuristic innovation will allow drivers to see important driving data—such as speed, navigation, and even entertainment—projected directly onto their windshield. This setup is designed to improve driving safety by keeping the driver’s eyes on the road, while eliminating the need for traditional dashboard displays. The mass production of this technology is expected to begin by 2027, and it is being hailed as a major leap forward in automotive design and user experience.
Hyundai Mobis will handle the system’s development and projector manufacturing, while Zeiss will provide the ultra-thin transparent film that makes this next-gen display possible. This collaboration marks a big step in making holographic technology mainstream in the automotive industry.

At the 2024 Paris Auto Show, Citroën unveiled an updated version of its electric vehicle, the Citroen Ami, drawing inspiration from the iconic 2CV design.
The new Ami features textured fenders and distinctive “gills” under the side windows, along with redesigned headlights. Citroën claims these changes make the vehicle more “mature” and charming. The technical specs remain the same: a top speed of 45 km/h and a range of 72 km.
Additionally, Citroën introduced the Ami Buggy Vision concept, tailored for beach adventures. This version includes kiteboard holders and a retractable roof. While Citroën hasn't confirmed mass production yet, given the success of similar concepts, it might just happen.
