From 1971-2024, U.S. housing inflation has averaged 5.3% CAGR; even higher for healthcare and education, with 2.3% U.S. CPI inflation for that period. Meanwhile, the U.S. saw zero (0%) inflation adjusted wage growth for that period. Prior to 1971, wages had always risen in step with CPI.
What happened in 1971? Nixon took the US off the gold standard. Leaving the gold standard ultimately began the inexorable shrinking of the US middle class which continues to this day, because wages haven’t improved since then, but costs keep rising. Also, inflation impacts the middle class disproportionately, as they are the primary customers for housing education and healthcare.
And that’s very bad for the U.S. economy, as the U.S. middle class consumers drive US economic growth, since ~75% of the US economy is consumption based. In a consumption based economy, the middle class pays for the party, not the “job creators”.
You now can see the problem, which started in 1971, not Covid. Not with China.
Final note - even during the last 5 years, China’s inflation adjusted wage growth has been higher than their cost of living increases. Which is one of the reasons they support their government so uniformly. And Chinese manufacturing overcapacity is accretive for China’s middle class expansion, because it is deflationary. While the US trade war is detractive for US middle class expansion, because trade wars are inflationary for the deficit country.
Higher inflation and acceleration of US middle class contraction are the real costs of the US trade war with China. Which is why the US is and will continue to be far more damaged by the trade war than China.

There is NO provision in the Constitution that gives the Feds the authority to TRACK, FORCE VACCINATE, or SLAUGHTER any state’s CATTLE supply! ⬇️

There are already reports of bird flu cases in OH herds & a bird flu mRNA 💉 is already in development!! As soon as it is ready, the Feds will be able to track where there are outbreaks in Ohio and force farmers to vaccinate their cattle with yet another experimental vaccine or force them to slaughter any animals exposed to illness. (Additionally, there is likely to be a push for mandatory vaccination of dairy workers & herd farmers as suggested in an NPR article TODAY! “ In the short term, Nuzzo thinks the country should start vaccinating dairy workers as soon as possible.”)
The newly mandated electronic tags allow the feds to track our herds, & force vaccinate or slaughter them, at THEIR discretion. OH farmers will have ZERO control over what happens to THEIR HERDS. They are at the mercy of meeting all Fed requirements in order to process their meat in a federal meat processing company.
It’s time to make OHIO a SOVEREIGN FOOD STATE! In order to remove ourselves from the federal system of control, we need our OWN meat PROCESSING FACILITIES. It’s time to protect Ohio’s food and our farmers!
