Frontal Lobotomies were once adopted by the mainstream medical establishment as a good idea before being terminated in 1967. It took over a decade for the medical establishment to realize what a poor idea it was. Lobotomy psychosurgery claimed to treat a multitude of mental illness, and I believe gender transition surgeries are no different. I believe there are a few different causes and is heavily influenced by the LGBTQ community and other physiological factors that I can’t mention on this platform. But the bottom line is that these surgeries have no place in healthcare and should be outlawed, especially for our children. Performing surgery to solve a psychological problem is like putting out a fire with gasoline. No surgery, pill, or medical procedure can replace the identity that God gave us.
