Over the past two years, there has been immense support for my family, wife, and me, and it has been overwhelmingly positive. It really exceeded any expectations I would have to begin with.

You have to grow some teeth and be willing to use them.
You might argue, "Well, I shouldn't be able to bite people" - the thing is, you should be able to and with the necessary force. Because if you're able to bite people, generally, it's the case that you don't have to.

Wealth Inequality Drives Innovation.
Robert Murphy: "You can just see how, given human nature and the limits of what people’s expertise is, that distributing and decentralizing it, and allowing for the possibility of massive fortunes to accumulate is a better engine for innovation."

Don't avoid small problems that you know are present.
Face them; otherwise, they'll grow into bigger problems because things that you ignore have a life of their own.

The distribution of tyranny and power.
Is having the power of decision-making better when it's distributed across multiple tyrants instead of just one sole, central tyrant?
Robert and I discuss this idea and what it entails in our podcast together.

Should everybody be equal?
We trade on our inequalities. You're better at something than I am, and I am better at something than you are. We add in the monetary aspect of the trade, and it works out rather well as we trade these services to one another.

If you pursue impulsive please to the detriment of the development of your character, you're going to end up a slave to a tyrant.

Why you should outsource work.
Dr. Murphy explains that just because you can do a task and do it well, there is still utility in outsourcing that task.
This allows you to focus on what you're really good at and what is most important to you.

Robert and I discuss the idea of prejudices in business and hiring practices.
Robert Murphy: "...if it really were true that in the United States women only get paid whatever the number is, 88 cents, for the same work. It’s a mystery. How come all the firms that are run by greedy capitalists aren’t hiring just women because they bring in the same output?"

Oftentimes people do not know what they want.
And even if they do, they're afraid to negotiate what they want.
How do you expect to communicate it to your partner, boss, or colleagues if that is the case?
