Why Selfishness Doesn't Work.

There's a technical problem with being selfish.

You're a collective of "you', spread across time. Acting in your own best interest - Well, what does that mean?

What Is the Core of Rejection?

“You’re perfectly suitable as a companion, but in no way should your genetic material be allowed to propagate itself into the next generation.” That’s the core of rejection, and it cuts to the bone."

"Young men between 25 and 31 are 66% more likely than young women to be living with their parents, and more young men are living with a parent than with a partner."

Warren Farrell, Ph.D.: "Yes, and you don’t find women looking for men that are living in their parents’ basement."

Success Made a Cartoonist More Attractive.

I share the story of Robert Crumb, an underground cartoonist, who was not only at the bottom of the male dominance hierarchy, but even further down on the female dominance hierarchy in terms of how desirable he was - that was until he became incredibly successful; In his own words: “That all changed when I got successful”.

Why Women Prefer Superman Over Clark Kent.

Warren Farrell, Ph.D.: "...Lois Lane had no interest in Clark Kent, but she fell in love with Superman. Once she fell in love with Superman, she wanted Superman to be able to cry and express emotions. But the man who did cry, express emotions and feelings and was sensitive, Clark Kent, she has zero interest in."

Warren Farrell, Ph.D., makes the case that the decline in boys IQ over the past 30 years - 15 points in total - is linked to fatherlessness.

1 in 3 boys in the UK and the US grow up without a present father. Boys are 50% more likely to fail than girls in the basic proficiency in any of the three core subjects: Reading, Math, and Science.

I hate conflict. But I'd rather have the small fight now, instead of letting it build-up - resulting in a worse fight in the future. Have the conflict now, and experience genuine peace later.

Negotiation about who does what at home can be tough, but it's worth it in the long run.

What is it that you want from sex?

Is it intimacy? Is it closeness? Do you want the person to pay attention to you? Lust will get you somewhere but having somebody care about you is far more important.

People are lonely - we need someone to communicate with, and we need someone to tie our lives together with when times are good to share triumphs and when times are bad to share catastrophes.

The Competitive Degree of Sexual Selection.

@DrWarrenFarrell: "Women will oftentimes say, “I’m opposed to war,” but she’s much more likely to fall in love with the officer and a gentleman than she is with the private and the pacifist."

University's Forgotten Purpose to Illuminate Homan Beings.

"I’m not a catastrophist. There are many wonderful people teaching in many institutions around the world... While I say that, the universities have by and large fundamentally forgotten, if not betrayed, their fundamental value proposition."

On average: Men are more interested in things. Women are more interested in people.

This is the most significant difference we know of, psychologically, between men and women.

The Skavlan Show - October 2018.
It's okay to surround yourself with people who are helping you be better and to shy away from people who are willing to drag you down.

You are not obligated to associate with people that are trying to damage the structure of your being.

Move away from people like that.

A Future of Technological Order and Moral Void.

"The West, the world at large, could very easily become a technological order set over a moral vacuum... That’s not to say the technology is bad. It is to say rather that it must take its place relative to a higher-order series of conversations." - Stephen Blackwood (Ralston College)

There’s some real utility in gratitude.

It’s also good protection against the dangers of victimhood and resentment. Your colleague outperforms you at work. His wife, however, is having an affair, while your marriage is stable and happy.
