I have nothing to do with regular banks. First of all they are unreliable, and most brokerage houses are straddled with a federal relationship, where the federal government can go to them for money to bail out the bank banks.

There are only two brokerage houses I would have anything to do with and they are Fidelity and Schwab.

Their exposure to the treasuries is very limited. They dont play in the bond mkt. They dont buy debt
