New changes for free tier users! ⚙️
We are currently working to release (very soon!) options for channel and group owners to monetize their links totally for free and start earning from them instantly. In the meantime, we have made some notable changes.
1.We no longer impose limits on download speed and stream quality and now it all depends upon service availability.
2.Users with higher amount of traffic on their generated links will automatically get free access to more analytics & options including ability to revoke and password-protect links.
3.Due to the high volume of unwanted messages we receive on our Telegram assistant bot, we will only process requests for premium subscriptions and support via email.

Downtime: 🎙
There seems to be an error while establishing connection with user database due to which bot is unavailable to generate links.
We are investigating the issue, meanwhile as a workaround you can add bot to your channel and can continue to generate links.

- We found the origin of error from database provider's side and fixed the issue by moving to backup database, all user data is safe and intact.
- Issue resolved and everything is normal.📄

Users can now generate self-destructive links that automatically expire after a given time period of 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month and 3 months.

@DrTGStreamBot can now generate streaming links for videos! 📼
Free tier users can now generate streaming links for their video files once again. Previously, I disabled the ability to directly stream videos due to increasing server load. However, I have reintroduced this feature with some tweaks, as I felt it was against bot’s name to remove it.
The bot now uses a separate API to generate streaming links and provides two different links for either direct download or streaming of the file. The API is available to everyone and can be used to stream any directly downloadable file links that do not support direct streaming.
API Endpoint:
Browser may still not able to stream certain videos due to limited capabilities.

Introducing Video Player 2.0! 🎞
After introducing the "Stream Links" and "Stream API" in our previous update, I received a great response from users and saw an increase in traffic on website. To make it even better, I have made further changes to it:
Bot:
- Added new video player.
- Channels now support stream links.
- Stream links for audio files.
- Improved mobile view.
- Download button in video player.
Stream API:
- Now support playing audio files.
-Requires file mime type using URL parameter.
- Media link can now be passed using

- Player's mobile view is completed! you can now easily stream media on any device.📱

Linking & customizing channels! 👥
In previous update for channels, I added the ability to instantly generate links for posts in channels by adding the bot as an admin. Now that this feature has received great attention from users, I expanding it even further by introducing settings for channels:
- Now link upto 3 channels at a time (unlimited overall).
- Self destructive links for channels.
- Decide which type of link bot should attach in channel.
The bot can still be used in channels which are currently not linked, the ability to link channels is there to overwrite their default settings only.
Same channels can be linked by multiple users to enable team collaboration. Unlinking a channel does not reset its current settings. Meanwhile, I also published Stream API documentation here.

We will be ditching out the free tier of file stream gradually in a phased manner:
• New link generation will cease shortly after this notice.
• Existing free tier links will be discontinued on December 4, 2023.
• Web player will continue to work even after discontinuation.
Opting for a premium subscription will not only safeguard your existing links from discontinuation but also enhance your experience seamlessly.
We are also offering the complete source code of our free tier bot (@DrTGStreamBot) for $5. The bot is written in Go (previously Python and will be included) just in case you decide to continue what we left, if interested you can drop a DM here. We will stop the distribution once someone purchase the source code to prevent duplicates. (Sold out)
