Over the past few days, we've been attentively listening to your feedback and queries. At DOP, the community has always been at the forefront, and we take your input very seriously. It's vital to mention that DOP doesn't solely belong to the team—it's a project driven by the community, and it's yours as much as it is ours.

In response to your feedback and in the best interest of everyone, we've made the decision to entrust you with the choice regarding the opening of the planned testnet-exclusive sale round.

On Wednesday, March 20 at 10am UTC, we will launch a poll on a dedicated platform where you can vote and determine the course of this round.

The concept behind this round stemmed from our desire to accommodate our community members and address the concerns we've received in recent times.

We aim to provide the 2.67M testnet participants with a special opportunity, aligning with our belief that a stronger community results from a greater number of holders, thereby strengthening DOP for long-term success.

The poll will determine how many tokens will be allocated for this sale round. Any unsold tokens from the testnet round will be burned, followed by the reassessment of the Total Supply and FDV. The DOP team will burn any token share they would be entitled to based on this specific round.

Your decision will be honored. The poll will remain active for 24 hours, and only testnet participants and private sale contributors will be eligible to vote.

To participate, you will need to connect the wallet you used for the testnet or private sale. This is your chance to influence the direction of DOP's journey.

The poll will remain active for the next 24 hours.
Upon casting your vote, you'll have access to real-time results and can revisit the link until the poll concludes to view updated results.

Keep in mind, the poll will decide the quantity of tokens allocated for this sale round. Any unsold tokens from the testnet round will be subject to burning, after which the Total Supply and FDV will be reassessed. The DOP team will burn any token share they would otherwise be entitled to, based on the outcome of this particular round.

We wish to clear things up as more & more questions arise.

The poll we have aired DOES NOT question whether we intend on rewarding our testnet participants or not – rest assured; you will be rewarded as promised, and your claim process will be announced.

However, we are entrusting our community to decide what the allocation will be for a testnet-exclusive sale round, that is the sole purpose of the poll.

The community has spoken through the poll, and true to our word, we're listening to every voice. Over 236K voters participated, reflecting about 565K votes!

The results were incredibly close, with the 1.5B allocation option narrowly winning by only 1.88% over the option to not have another round.

Given the razor-thin margin, we've consulted with our legal team and, after careful deliberation, decided to launch another 24-hour survey to ensure we truly capture the community's will.

The options will be:
Option 1: No testnet-exclusive sale round.
Option 2: Proceed with a testnet-exclusive sale round, allocating up to 1.5B tokens based on the leading poll choice.

To be clear - the 4.5B, 3.5B, and 2.5B are off the table, and the total supply will be updated accordingly.

This decisive survey allows us to reaffirm the community's stance definitively. This is a good exercise in democracy, and we are happy that we allowed the community to decide, and are confident that only good will come out of it.

We'll share the link once live - your participation is crucial as we shape DOP's path together, ensuring no voice goes unheard.

This poll will determine whether the testnet-exclusive sale round proceeds. The maximum allocation for this proposed round is up to 1.5B tokens. Regardless of the outcome, the total supply will be significantly reduced as per your requests.

We're conducting this follow-up survey in response to the tight results of the initial one.

While a majority of 61% indicated their preference for a testnet-exclusive sale round by selecting one of the allocation options, 39% voted against it.

We acknowledge that it's impossible to satisfy everyone's preferences, but we're committed to respecting the community's voice by considering all viewpoints, even when they're closely divided. Your responses are noted, and every voice is heard.

The second poll adheres to the same format and rules as the first, enabling all testnet and private sale participants to participate using their relevant wallets.

While we understand emotions are running high, we remain steadfast in our commitment to honoring our promises.

We're confident that, together, we'll emerge from this process stronger and more unified than ever before.

The second vote of the DOP community is coming to an end soon.

Currently, 179,158 votes are for option A (No allocation), while 201,810 votes are for option B (Up to 1.5B DOP Tokens).

This means that regardless of the outcome, we still need to consider the other 50% of the community that voted for a different solution.

Therefore, we've decided that regardless of the winning option, we will make it right:

If option B (Up to 1.5B DOP Tokens) wins, we will burn the same amount from the team's allocation (the portion of tokens reserved for the team in the tokenomics), effectively not increasing the total supply. Total supply if option B wins: Up to 24,870,186,853 (effectively 23,370,186,853 due to team allocation burn)

If option A (No allocation) wins, we will distribute extra tokens for the testnet airdrop from the team's tokens. Total supply if option A wins: 23,370,186,853

We understand that we can't make everyone happy, but we can assure you that we will do our best to reach a middle ground between both parties.

In preparation for the forthcoming testnet-exclusive sale of DOP Tokens, we are initiating a waitlist to offer priority access to a select group of participants. This opportunity is limited in nature, emphasizing the importance of early registration.

3. Indicate the amount you wish to allocate for your purchase (up to 0.5 ETH per user)

Access to the DOP testnet-exclusive sale round is granted on a first-come, first-served basis, promoting a transparent and fair process for all participants. To honor our community's engagement, those who register on the waitlist will receive priority access. The waitlist registration will be open until 2pm UTC on Monday, March 25

As part of our commitment to maintaining the integrity of the total supply, we pledge to burn an equivalent amount of tokens from the team’s allocation, effectively keeping the total supply at 23,370,186,853 DOP Tokens.
