Several people, including a dog and its owner, were swept away by a "mini-tsunami" on the central coast of New South Wales in Australia.
The tidal wave washed furniture and other debris from homes in Avoca on Saturday. Renee Emerson, who posted the video, described the situation as "the worst we've ever seen."
The SES warned that a tide of 5 feet (1.7 meters) and swells of up to 12 feet were expected, and asked residents to avoid coastal areas and beaches.
