Thank you to everyone that has taken my survey! I have gotten a lot of great suggestions, and the data is very insightful as to what I am doing well and what I could still improve on. Based on the data, I'll be implementing the following to address some of the issues:
1) I now have an have an F-List as a comprehensive list of things I like drawing, can draw, and won't draw. https://www.f-list.net/c/veos%20commissions . This addresses the "too shy to ask if will do x content" issue some may have, which is my #2 most common issue. I'll have this link available on the form, the commissions announcements, and also my front page.
2) I will implement an option to be put on a waiting list for future slots if current month's slots are full, with the caveat being that you might end up waiting more than a month if you're on a waiting list. This addresses the "Form isn't open long enough for me to submit an idea" issue some may have, which is my #3 most common issue.
Also, I will be opening commissions again February 28, and will have it run for a full week instead of closing once the allotted slots are full.
As for the winner of the raffle for a free art piece from me, it is the person who posted Brown#1106, Corb_Otter. Congratulations! I have reached out via FA notes.
Some other interesting tidbits:
- Raffle winner was selected by scraping the raffle entry page (comments) for all instances of COLOR#0000, and then inputting each instance as a row in a .csv file. Telegram channel entries (14) were then added to the same csv. A random number generator was then used to generate a number between 1 - 201, with 201 being the number of entries received. The RNG gave me 140, which is the entry containing Brown#1106, which there is only one of.
- Most of you have brown floors.
- 254 responses in total were gathered.
- The #1 issue that was picked was that there simply isn't enough money to commission me, at 76% of all respondents to the question.
- 26% of respondents have never ordered a commission before, whereas 14.6% of respondents have commissioned over 100 pieces.
- Most respondents (38.6%) are willing to wait between 1-3 months for a commission, with an approximately equal amount (37.8%) willing to wait as long as it takes.
- 84.3% of respondents have not commissioned me before.
- Of the remaining respondents that have commissioned me before, 0% of respondents said they would NOT be interested in commission me again in the future ❤️.
