I'm currently firmly in the cone of Major Hurricane Milton, so if I go offline for the next week or so starting Thursday, that's why. I expect to not have power nor internet for a week minimum if this goes directly over where I am.

I am hunkering down in a boarded up and concrete block shelter, so wind-wise Cliona and I should be fine. We have enough supplies for the next 2 weeks or so. We're high enough elevation wise (non-evacuation zone) and far enough from any water bodies that storm surge and flooding won't be a consideration.

I'll send another update once I'm able. In the meantime, we're doing our best to get ready and to be safe.

Quick update, we made it through fine here. No damage to house as far as I can tell. But no power, water, or sewage for a while it seems. Will update again when able.

We're back in business! All power restored and everything is set back up for maximum cetacean debauchery to resume with gusto!
