Another "only in Israel" moment and one that I love every year.
All over the streets and pavements of Israel today until next Sunday, you will see palm branches that have been cut down, all for the residents to freely take in order to put on their sukkah for the festival of Sukkot. The timing is also 100% accurate because the entire palm tree grows back all of it's branches in time for the next year at the same time. Hashem gives us all we need every year.
After collecting at least 30 palm branches I went to pick up my sukkah from storage in order to start building it the evening after the fast of Yom Kippur.
And to think that Jews have been doing this for 3000 years unbroken and unchanged, just with different customs over time. Chag sameach, chatima tova!

Last night Arabs threw molotov cocktails at the homes of Jews living in East Jerusalem. This is a regular thing that takes place.

After the terrorist shooting attack this morning that I reported about earlier, a teacher from Elon Moreh blocked the exit of the road from Shchem (Nablus) so the Arabs couldnt leave. He said "We will not let them kill us!"
The teacher decided that after the shooting attack it is impossible to remain silent and wait for the funerals of Jews to occur. He decided to be late for work and block the road.
"This morning they tried to kill Jews, they shot at them, where I travel every day. We will not allow these things to happen. I tell all residents to stop and block them, we will not allow this to continue."
