Last night, after midnight, I went to a different beit knesset for slichot with some friends. I recorded them singing parts of the slichot service in the 2nd video but listen to both.

Though I wish I could record atmosphere and feeling in a video but it's impossible so what you see in the video is only a small percentage of how it really is and this is how we Mizrachi Jews are on Yom Kippur also. It's very uplifting.

Tonight is Rosh Hashana so Shana Tova U'metuka ve'chatima tova

Last night on an IDF operation in Shchem (Nablus), terrorists were firing at the troops (as you hear in the first video) but the IDF responded and blew up terrorists who were on a bike as well as in a car as you see in the other pic and video. I attached a pic of one of the terrorists who were killed.

Terrorists put a bag with 5kg of explosives in a gas station in Kedumim. Lucky it never exploded.

Signing off soon for 2 days of Rosh Hashanah.

To all my brothers and sisters I say Shana tova u'metuka v'chatima tova ♥️🇮🇱🍯🍎

To the Jews who might not observe the Jewish day of Judgement and New year, I ask that you at least perform the simple mitzvah of hearing the sound of the shofar being blown at a synagogue near you, trust me it will do wonders when it touches your soul, just close your eyes and listen. A Jew can never and should never hide from who he is.

Chag sameach 🥳

Wow amazing!!

After 1 year of not working the land due to the Shmita year that we were in, religious farmers are tilling the land right now at night.

The sabbatical year (Shmita), is the seventh year of the seven-year agricultural cycle mandated by the Torah in the Land of Israel and is observed in Judaism. Basically we Jews are commanded from the Torah to let the land rest every 7 years so as to not deplete it's resources, we let the land rest. The 7th year has now ended as we are in a new Jewish year from Rosh Hashana that we just celebrated. In today's greedy world this is unheard of as big business prefers profits but will ultimately destroy the land. The Jewish farmers in Israel who observe 1 year of not producing anything should be commended as this is not an easy task, it requires absolute faith and they succeed always from it.

This is one of my favourite prayers we sing on Yom Kippur in the very last service known as the Ne'ila. We will sing this next week. The prayer is called "El nora alila". We sing it differently to the way it is in this video but with as much positive energy, plus it has my friend Yoni Sharon in it on darbuka drum and percussion.

I posted about him before:
