Last night at an intersection near Modi'in there was a terrorist attack. The terrorist opened the door of a car and tried to stab the female passenger to death but luckily her husband, who was driving, is a veteran Magav officer and was armed. He first drove the car to get away and got out with his weapon and the terrorist started running toward him so he followed protocol and first shouted for him to stop then fired warning shots and then after he didnt stop he he shot the terrorist to death.

Last night in Holon, an Arab was caught with a huge ax in his possession while riding an electric scooter. Thanks to the vigilance of citizens and the Israeli security forces, a major terror attack was avoided.

This is possibly the most powerful and touching Ashkenazi style slichot song you will ever see/hear.....I have yet to find one as incredible as this and I have been listening to this one for years.
It is called Le'Maancha and it's written by Eitan Katz but the words are from the slichot prayers which we say after midnight for a few weeks, the period we are in now.

Today in Havat Gilad in Samaria, a terrorist tried to run over policemen and rammed into their police car after. IDF soldiers on patrol nearby noticed the incident and one of the Givati soldiers shot and killed the terrorist on the spot.

This is happening now in the Jerusalem neighborhood known as "Abu Tor" which is a mixed Jewish/Arab area in East Jerusalem. I drove through there just a few weeks ago.
At least the police are finally using the skunk spray water system against Arabs rather than usually only against Haredim and other Jews in riots.
