After the disaster on Mount Meron during Lag Ba'Omer which shook the entire country, various Israeli artists joined forces to make this song called Zman Dimah (Tear Time).

This is a memorial song in memory of those who perished in the disaster, out of empathy, solidarity and sympathy for the pain of the families who lost their loved ones.

The artists include Daniel Chen, Yoav Yitzhak, Yaniv Ben Mashiach, Maor Edri, Moshik Afia, Nitai Tzarfati, Kobi Peretz, Rami Lev, Avi Avidni, Avi Yifrach, Itzik Rikan, Stabros Pezrentis, Miki Avizov and Ran Carmi.

May the memories of the deceased be a blessing.

Israeli mizrachit singer Moshe Dweck performs a mizrachi style version of the famous song called Ochila which is usually only sung by Ashkenazim, I love both styles.....The words are from the Musaf prayers on Yom Kippur. Very powerful words.

English translated words:

I hope in Almighty, I implore His Presence, I ask of Him to grant me eloquent speech, so that in the congregation of the people, I might sing of His might and utter joyful songs praising His deeds. The arrangements of thoughts belong to man, but [only] from God, comes eloquent speech. My Master, open my lips and my mouth will declare Your praise.

As many of you know me by now I love all styles of Jewish music, whether it be Mizrachit, which is the background I am from, or whether it be Ashkenazi which is a background I grew up around and so I have a connection to both, best of both worlds. To me Jewish is Jewish no matter which background and I love it all.

So on that note I found this amazing Carlebach version of Shema Koleinu sung by Rabbi Mordechay Gottlieb who is also a singer with a power voice.

This one is really good in my opinion.

Wow wow wow!! This guy Raviv Kaner lost 4 of his friends in his elite unit (Egoz) during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza 2014, he is not religious but he sang Shir Lamaalot straight from his soul and it really touched me.... incredible!
He is a big Israeli patriot and still serves in the IDF even after what he went through....his tattoo on his arm is actually in memory of his lost friends from his unit...

This video was filmed on Erev Pesach

Never ever forget this hero's face!

Major Roi Klein was one of the IDFs most highly decorated soldiers who received the Medal of Courage of which very few have ever earned and most who received it never lived to ever see it. Today is Roi's memorial.

Roi is the epitome of a hero.

During the 2006 2nd Lebanon War while on an operation in Lebanon, a grenade was thrown at him and his soldiers around him, so in the few seconds he had left and with calculated composure, Roi jumped on the grenade to save the lives of his soldiers. He even managed to hand over the encrypted walkie-talkie to one of them so that it would not remain in enemy territory before shouting the Jewish Prayer "Shema Yisrael" (Hear oh Israel) and was then killed.

Ramat Gan municipality named a street after him recently:

May his memory be a blessing!

Consider yourself a Zionist? Care about the heartland of the Jewish world known as Judea & Samaria? Want to help the very brave Jews who choose to live there, even though it is regarded as the most dangerous areas to live in in Israel? Watch the video, read on and share please!

The people living there are unsung heroes but their purpose is not to be heroes, their purpose is to protect the Jewish state safe from the enemy and also to keep our historical land in the hands of Jews at all times. Their mere presence there is actually a massive part of Israel's strategy for safety, they are literally the soldiers on the front line at all times keeping the enemy from moving in and taking over.

A lot of these people need your help and we have amazing people there like my friend Gedaliah Blum & his wife who spend their lives helping the people there succeed so that the entire area thrives always. When the people thrive the place thrives too.
