Due to the situation in the south with rockets being fired from Gaza into Israel, the Assuta Hospital in Ashdod decided to hang an Israeli flag of more than 25 meters long at the main entrance.

"We ask to strengthen our brave warriors in all sectors who work night and day for our security," they said at the hospital.

Rockets are currently being fired right now at Ashkelon (next to Ashdod) as I write this.

Rockets are still being fired into Israel right now. I literally just heard 2 massive booms in tbe distance after rockets were intercepted by Ashkelon.

We just had rocket sirens again now where we live. My wife, 6 year old son and my mother-in-law were literally just heading out somewhere when the siren went off. This was part of the intercepted rocket that fell here.

My wife turned into ultra-mega superwoman at that moment as she had to get my son out of the car seat then bolt with him upstairs to our bomb shelter, he weighs 20kgs, leaving behind her mother that cannot walk properly at all and the car open. This is what we have to go through on a regular basis. People further south have it much much worse though.
