In a day from now it will be 8 years since the murder and kidnapping of 23 year old IDF soldier Hadar Goldin during the 2014 war in Gaza.
These videos are what took place outside the home of his family, after he was murdered. It shows you the love we have for our people. Thousands of complete strangers attended this.
Hadar was a Lieutenant in the Givati Brigade, he was a Jewish patriot, a humanitarian and an artist. His body has still not been returned to his family.
May his memory be a blessing.

Excellent!!
This is Lieutenant Ofri Zelicha who used to play basketball for the Israeli national team before he was even 18. However he decided it wasn't enough and when he turned 18 he decided to fulfill his dream to become a warrior and commander in the IDF.
In Israel professional sportsmen are exempt from mandatory military service and so he could have taken the easy way out but decided to serve the country.

What a great moment and thing to do.
In Jerusalem, an Israeli female police officer was serving her last shift at her post by the Temple Mount and so a group of religious men gave her a nice farewell...
One of the Rabbis there said that: "She woke up in the morning to add good to the world...Yaffe, the police officer leaves the Temple Mount, leaving for a good place of course. I am happy for her and sad for us and for the Temple Mount. Yaffe made the Temple Mount a brighter and better place. She welcomed everyone with a smile, solved problems with wisdom and special sensitivity, loved everyone, explained over and over again with endless patience, helped with anything that was needed at any hour and restored my trust that there are police officers who get up in the morning to add good to the world. I am avoiding the thought, as much as possible, of what the Temple Mount would look like without her. I'm sure she'll be successful in the new place and I hope they already realize they've won gold."

This is a video clip, which had no sound at the time, of Yemenite Jews after they arrived in Israel in the 1950s. The Arabic you hear is actually the Kriyat Shema prayer we say twice daily as that is how some Yemenite Jews used to pray when they lived in Yemen.
I included the exact same video but with the same prayer being said in Hebrew.

Angels angels everywhere!!
The woman who reported this works in a grocery store in Jerusalem and today there was a mother there with many children who was stuck without money to pay for her groceries and she spent almost half a day collecting money for charity to be able to buy things.
The woman who works in the store tried to help her by giving her what she had for charity but then out of nowhere this angel of a man came and quietly filled 2 carts full of all good things then went to the cashier and paid for everything. The mother didn't know it's all for her and the man just left but before he left he came to the woman working there and quietly told her to deliver the food for her then put money in her hand and just disappeared.
The lady who works there said she sat in tears (of joy and surprise) outside the store for what she had witnessed.

I have posted 3 incredible songs by the amazing and extremely talented Israeli singer / performer Daniel Saadon but this one goes through my soul. He is singing a part of the Megilat Eicha (The Book of Lamentations) which is what we will read this Saturday night and Sunday for the fast and saddest day of the Jewish year, Tisha B'Av. He has also played together with my talented friend Yoni Sharon. Please follow them both.
"Daniel is a performer who brings to the audience his sophisticated & powerful work in a variety of genres that constitute a breakthrough in the music industry. His uniqueness stems from his ability to produce music that is suitable for a variety of events & productions for a wide and diverse range of audiences, starting with authentic Arabic world music and ending with new and up-to-date pop music."
Those words are an under-statement when you hear these songs, I mean he literally re-did the Israeli National Anthem and made it into what it should be, Oriental.
Listen here, here and here.
