Following the big wave of terrorism that has hit Israel in recent months, veterans that served in the IDF's ultra-Orthodox unit called Netzach Yehuda (Nachal Haredi) are now volunteering to protect the communities. This new initiative was started by the Netzach Yehuda organization that Yossi runs. So far about 1700 have already volunteered for this incredible initiative.

Earlier this evening the IDF Tzanchanim (Paratroopers) Brigade of the November 21 cycle started it's very tough Masa Kumta (beret march). This march will take place all night until the early morning and then they will receive their red berets at a ceremony.

Yesterday a joint training operation took place between the Israeli Air Force and the Greek Air Force.
As part of the training, 2 new female pilots practiced a variety of scenarios, including advanced air battles and refueling Greek fighter jets.

Here are some highlights of the Masa Kumta and the beret ceremony after, including the soldiers singing HaTikva at the end of the beret ceremony once they received their red berets.
