This is a famous Israeli street musician in Jerusalem named Michael Dahan, who I posted about last month and also in 2019. Here he is singing an Israeli Jewish song sung by a Yemenite Jew and a real Jewish Yemenite passerby joins him in singing it.

Here are the other posts I made:

I was honored to meet the Jewish Ethiopian man in the first pic who was the commander of the late elite police unit fighter, Barel Shmueli z"l, who was murdered by terrorists on the Gaza border last year while defending the state of Israel. I met him at my nephew's son's brit mila (Jewish circumcision ceremony) tonight in Netivot.

He serves in an elite border police unit and so I deliberately blurred his face for this post. He is married to my nephew's wife's sister.

Mazal Tov to my nephew and his wife.

I posted about Barel here:

The Dutch police are applying the exact tactic of the Israeli Mista'arvim (elite undercover police) by dressing themselves up as protestors and rioters and joining in with them, then arresting the instigators by surprise.

The Israeli Mista'arvim have been doing this for a long time when Arabs are rioting. They dress up like them and join in the riots and then suddenly surprise them by arresting specific targets.

Great to see Israeli police tactics being used in foreign police forces. They of course have a lot of room for improvement as they lack experience like we have with it but repeat it enough times and they will improve.

Note: This post has ZERO connection to the protest and what it is about...my post is about the police tactic only...simple as that. Please do not give me your opinion on the protest as I know nothing about it and care little about it. 🙂

This is Sergeant P. from Brazil. 2 years ago he decided to immigrate to Israel alone.

He arrived in Kibbutz Maagan Michael with the intention to enlist in the IDF and after one of his friends on the kibbutz told him about the IDF Yahalom elite unit, he decided that he would do anything to get into it.

A few days before trying out for the unit, he found out that his beloved grandmother had passed away. He decided not to give up and to continue with his plan because: "This is what would make her most proud."

He was finally accepted into this elite unit, and this week, he completed the 1 year and 4 months of training and has now become a full-fledged IDF Yahalom elite combat soldier.

All the best brother, may Hashem bless you and make you successful in all you do.

Awesome stuff!

This is Menachem Geisinsky, an ultra-Orthodox Jew who came to Israel from New York to document smiling soldiers. He started this project in memory of his friend Eli Kay, who was murdered in a terrorist attack in Jerusalem last November 2021.

"Eli was the perfect example of a smiling soldier, this is a good way to commemorate him."

Kol HaKavod!!!
