Today is the 15th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second Lebanon War...For the first time, Hezbollah published the full documentation of the abduction of abducted IDF soldiers Udi Goldwasser and Eldad Regev.
This video may be too hard for some to watch.
Ehud "Udi" Goldwasser was abducted in Israel by Hezbollah along with Eldad Regev on 12 July 2006, sparking the 2006 Lebanon War.
On 16 July 2008, the bodies of Goldwasser and Regev were returned to Israel in the 2008 Israel–Hezbollah prisoner exchange. It was determined that the two reservists were killed during the ambush.
May their memories be a blessing and their blood avenged always!

Here is an update about the status of this IDF combat hero named Shalev Bitton who was critically injured on the 12th May in the same attack that killed Staff Sgt. Omer Tabib when terrorists attacked their IDF jeep with an anti-tank missile from Gaza....
Chabad Rabbi Menachem Kutner had a very touching and heart warming moment when he got to put on the tefillin of the head and read the "Shema Yisrael" prayer with this dear soldier Shalev.
It is great to see Shalev doing better after his serious injury and I hope he will succeed with everything in his life.

This is really sad....When this guy was only two years old, he lost his father, Major Moti Botbul, during the 2nd Lebanon War. Tonight is the memorial day 15 years on of the 2nd Lebanon war and the death of his father. In his letter he wrote about the longing for a father he never got to know.
"Wow, how do I even start such a letter? A letter to a dad who hasn't been with me for 15 years. A letter to my father who helps me in difficult times even if he is not physically with me. A letter to a father I did not know.
15 years, 15 years since my life changed, 15 years since I last saw my dad, 15 days of painful memory, 15 memories, 15 years in which every day, every minute, every second, I feel like something is missing in my life. 15 hard years.
Dad. Our introduction was very short, 2 years in all, from which I don't remember almost anything. I know you from stories mostly.
Continued in the comments....

A short time ago there was a shooting attack at the Qalandiya crossing - a terrorist drove to the crossing and fired several bullets at the security forces operating at the site.
The vehicle fled in the direction of Jerusalem, and Border Police forces and police are searching for the vehicle.
A security guard was lightly injured.

Hey everyone due to the critical situation going on in South Africa, specifically the KZN province, I have obtained details of a fund to assist the Jewish community in Kwazulu Natal.
Note that currently there is a massive food and medicine shortage.
The South African Jewish Board of Deputies KZN Council has released an “Emergency Relief” program to assist our community with basic supplies. This includes procuring essential food hampers and assisting with medication where possible.
This initiative is funded by donations. If you should wish to make a contribution, kindly find bank details below:
I have verified that this is legitimate, I personally know the people who work for South African Jewish Board of Deputies in South Africa, I went to school with many of them, so you can be assured this is legit.
Thanks

It's Tisha B'Av (9th of Av) tonight and tomorrow. Literally the saddest day of the Jewish year. It relates to the destruction of both Jewish Temples in Jerusalem as well as many other calamities which have befallen the Jewish Nation over the past 2000 years. We commemorate it by fasting for 25 hours.
This is my neighbor Yehuda, he is Yemenite so the part just before reading Eicha (Lamentations) he did in the Yemenite way.
I wish everyone well over the fast.

Last night, cars belonging to Jews on their way to the Western Wall were stoned by Arabs. They were on their way to commemorate Tish B'Av which started last night and ends tonight.
Thankfully there were no injuries.

Arabs on the Temple Mount last night and this morning showing us how they love peace with Jews so much....They doing this on purpose because it is Tisha B'Av now. They are such a wondeful caring bunch. (sarcasm alert)
