Looking for an incredible non-fictional book to read about Israel's most elite undercover police unit known as the Yamas (Mista'Aravim) who are the unit you probably saw in the TV series called Fauda?

Probably the most effective and most dangerous job in Israel to have when it comes to special forces / counter-terrorism. This unit has literally altered the level of security we have in Israel, without them we will have even more terrorist attacks and even more lethal than what we know.

This book by Samuel M. Katz called "The Ghost Warriors: Inside Israel's Undercover War Against Suicide Terrorism" is brilliant and includes interviews with some members of this unit.

You will be biting your nails through this book, crying your eyes out at times, boiling your blood no doubt and just being incredibly amazed at the level of courage and simple genius these guys have in this unit.

Meet Ellisa, she is an Israeli Arab-Christian from a village in the north of the country. She has always dreamed of enlisting in the IDF but feared the reactions of those closest to her. She hid the entire recruitement process from her family but she finally told them and was surprised to find out that they were happy and supported her.

For a year and a half she has been a combat solider in the Caracal Battalion and defends the southern border of Israel on a daily basis.

She has one message to convey: "To the Arab girls who want to enlist but are afraid, I want to give you a push. Today my family is very proud of me and I stand behind my choice. To repay the state for what it has given me is a duty, and to protect the citizens is a right."

Famous religious singer Yaakov Shwekey came to visit the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron and while there he stopped to meet and sing "Im Eshkachech Yerushalayim (If I Forget You Jerusalem)" with the soldiers guarding there.

A Sovereignty Movement tour in the Old City of Jerusalem was violently disrupted by Arabs not far from Western Wall.

As the tour group passed through a public courtyard near the Western Wall, they were accosted by a group of Arabs who shouted at them to leave and even became violent. One of the Arabs attempted to snatch the phone used by one of the tour participants to document the incident.

Thanks to my friend Nati Rom, who is a lawyer, Jews are now allowed to recite the Shema prayer and also bow down on the Temple Mount.

He filed an appeal after 3 boys were arrested for this "barbaric crime" of bowing down while reciting the Shema prayer up there and they won the case and the court accepted the appeal.

Progress, baby steps, count your blessings, even though we all know this whole thing is ridiculous to begin with and pure Apartheid racism from the Arab side, however there are bigger things at play here, things out of all human control. Need patience and Jewish unity.
