It has been a year since Jewish Israeli hero named Michael Ben Zikri gave his life saving the lives of 4 Israeli Bedouins who were drowning in a lake near Zikim.
On July 3, Michael, who was a newlywed and a father of three from Ashdod, drowned after rescuing this Bedouin family from a sinkhole in Nahal Shikma, a manmade lake south of Ashkelon.
His wife gave a statement to the police that the water was no deeper than a wading pool and so she was puzzled when someone appeared to be in distress. She said that her husband handed her his sunglasses and said, “Go to the beach so long, I’m going to save them.”
He successfully saved all 4 of them from disaster but apparently the effort of saving the 4 had left him with no strength to save himself.
The rescued woman and the children, aged 14, 10 and 7, were released from the hospital on July 5. On that same day, their extended Al-karem family from the Bedouin village of Hura came to Michael’s funeral in Ashkelon.

Amazing moment at the Tomb of Joseph as Jewish women perform the Torah mitzvah (commandment) of doing Hafrashat Challah (Separating the challah).
The Torah tells us in Bamidbar 15:20 "From the first of your dough you shall set apart challah."
My wife does this mitzvah every month as she makes our bread.
Thanks to my friend Ezri ToBe for the great footage and moment.

Nice! 200 religious Zionist (dati leumi) Jews marched in the Bat al-Hawa neighborhood in the town of Silwan (Jerusalem) this afternoon. Silwan is very hostile to Jews and Israelis but these guys have armed escourts. You can see Palestinian flags all over.
The Arabs called it a provocation? Provocation?
When you come to our areas it's fine but when we come to yours it's a provocation? Let's not forget who'se land this is, Silwan is Jewish land too, occupied by Jew haters currently.

Some more pics from today at the annual Hamas youth Summer Camp.
I posted about this camp a few times in the past 2 weeks since it started, see these for more:

Still not a word in international media about this, literally nothing.
If these were Jews doing this, it would be on the front page of the New York Times and CNN homepage!
This is how you breed haters and murderers. This is not some innocent boy scout survival camp where they sit around a camp fire and sing kumbaya while holding hands. These boys are literally learning to be the next cold blooded terrorist, to kill soldiers, kids, babies, women, men, old people, you name it.

Today is the memorial day for Asher Aharon Gross who was murdered by Palestinian Arabs in 1983.
Asher moved with his family to Israel in 1974 from Staten Island, New York. The family lived in Jerusalem and Aharon attended school in the Bayit Vegan neighborhood.
At the age of 18, he was attacked while standing at the roundabout on King David Street / Shuhada Street in Hebron near the wholesale market waiting for a ride. Three terrorists emerged from a car with knives and stabbed him in the stomach and chest. They fled in an awaiting vehicle in front of the wholesale market. Aharon's friends, who were in a nearby vehicle, saw the attack, and chased the terriorists in their own vehicle, and an exchange of gunfire ensued.

WOW mazal tov !!!
Today is Hebron native Avraham Kiryati's 100th birthday and wow what a story he has!
Avraham was born to the Capilouto family that escaped the Spanish Inquisition generations before. His grandfather Eliyahu Capilouto was a carpenter and lived on Gaza Street in Hebron near today's Policeman's Square.
His father Yaakov was an electrician in the city, and installed the first electric lights at the Tomb of the Patriarchs. He was one of the few Jews allowed to venture past the seventh step to the holy site which at the time was restricted to Muslims only. Later he was the first driver to drive between Jerusalem and Hebron.

A heavy firefight last night between IDF forces and terrorists in Jenin.
This is a regular occurrence, it is just not mentioned on the news all the time as these things are daily events for decades.

The terrorists who threw stones at an Israeli car in Gush Etzion two and a half years ago, which wounded this baby, were sentenced to about 4 years in prison as well as having to pay compensation to the family of an advanced payment of 15,000 shekels each - a total payment of compensation of 45,000 shekels to the victims of this crime.
The attack took place on Road 60 bypassing Halhul, between Hebron and Gush Etzion. The terrorist cell was positioned on the side of the road and when they noticed an Israeli vehicle arriving, they pelted it with stones from a distance of ten meters and hit it. The Jewish couple that were in the car were with their two small children. Their youngest son, a nine-month-old baby, was injured by shards of glass in his face and eyes.
In the video, filmed by Ofer Ohana who arrived at the scene, Ohana was heard in a dialogue "I am at the scene, I have a baby injured by stone throwing. How old is the baby? Nine months."

Last week these Muslim Arab IDF combat soldiers successfully completed their Masa Kumta (beret march) and earned their berets as combat soldiers.
This pic is from their Masa Kumta and you see how they wear the Israeli flag with pride. These guys are volunteers in the IDF and perform a significant service on the Gaza border near by Kerem Shalom crossing.
Kol HaKavod guys!
They are from the same unit in which 2 other Muslim combat soldiers (Bassel & Bashar Drosha), who are brothers, had a serious motorcycle accident which caused the death of one of the brothers (Bashar) and the other to be in a critical condition. They both volunteered to be in war together to defend the state of Israel. I added a pic of them in the comments below.

These construction workers in Neve Itamar near Netanya are throwing stones from a construction site and trashing the contractors cars by the site....They are Arabs. I guess there was an issue between the contractors and the workers.
This is not a terrorist situation, just to be clear but this is still unacceptable behaviour!
