A song that was written about fallen IDF soldier from Texas, Nissim Sean Carmeli. He was killed in action in 2014 at age 21.

He had no family in Israel to attend his funeral and so Israelis from all walks of life attended it and about 20,000 people ended up arriving to it.

This song is about him and the 20,000.

I have posted about him before here:

May his memory be a blessing!

The Yom HaZikaron siren has just sounded across the country as we remember the 24,068 men and women who were murdered by terrorists while either serving in the IDF or other security forces and the 4216 civilians who were just going about their day like anyone else in the world.

May their memories be a blessing and never forgotten!

I took this on the hill where I live.

Arabs in Lod shot off fireworks during the memorial day siren this evening.

Many do this to purposefully disrespect the moment. If only they understood that the people who died in wars died to protect them also and this is how they say thanks.

Arab media are showing the 1st video of an Arab guy in the old city of Jerusalem who was "attacked by Jews" yet they fail to show the video of what happened before he was pepper sprayed which you can now see in the 2nd video.

Remembering the 3 Kabiya sons, family of Mohammad Kabiya , Israeli Muslim Bedouin heroes who died defending the Jewish state of Israel.

Next time you claim or hear someone claim that Israeli Muslim Arabs cannot be trusted in the IDF or security forces, you just remember that these 3 from the same family and many others volunteered to literally put their lives in danger to protect Jews and died committing to that vow. Do not disrespect the soldiers of the IDF or security forces no matter what religion they are!

May their memories be a blessing and may your family find their peace Mohammad Kabiya

Remembering Ari Fuld - the Lion of Israel.

He was a friend to many, had a heart of gold and a huge passion to help people. He dedicated his life to helping IDF soldiers in any way he could. He was a huge advocate for Israel in a world gone mad. He himself served in a combat unit in the IDF and remained an active reservist till the day he died.

On Sunday, 16 September 2018 a terrorist took his life by cowardly stabbing him in the back while he was minding his own business at a shopping center. The wound was extremely severe but that didnt stop him from chasing after the terrorist in attempt to prevent him from harming someone else. That moment was Ari in a nutshell. He ended up saving the life of a woman nearby who was outside the falafel store she owned.

Today I went to visit the graves of 2 IDF soldiers who have no family at all here to visit them. They are buried in one of the cemeteries where I live. I said some prayers and also just wanted to be there to pay my respects as they have nobody left.

The first was Private Salim Sasson who was born in Iraq and immigrated to Israel in the early 50s then joined a youth movement in Hulda and became a farmer. He was drafted into the IDF in August 1956 . On January 28, 1958, he was killed in the line of duty near the Dan farm. He was 20 years old.

The second was Private Haim Kapon who was born in Macedonia and immigrated to Israel in 1949. He was drafted into the IDF in January 1953. On August 23, 1953, he was killed in the line of duty. He was 23 years old.

May their memory be a blessing and never forgotten.

On the occasion of Yom HaZikaron, members of the Israeli delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest visited the synagogue in Turin, Italy last night. Michael Ben-David sang "Avinu Malkeinu" in the synagogue which was restored after the war.

Amazing moment captured by Yael Shevach, the wife of the late Rabbi Raziel Shevach who was murdered in a terrorist attack in 2018.

A random IDF soldier of Ethiopian descent was saluting her husband's grave.

Yael wrote the following in her post: "I don't know who you are, saluting my husband's grave, but I love you!"

This is Am Yisrael!!!

May his memory be a blessing!

Amazing! My friend and CEO of the Nachal Haredi NPO (Netzach Yehuda), Yossi Levi, hosted a large ceremony last night for Yom HaZikaron which had over 1000 attendees and it was focused on and adapted for the Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community.

Yossi and his org do amazing things.
