Mazal tov to the latest 380 religious IDF recruits who all signed up for combat units in the March 22 cycle. Kol HaKavod to the organization known as Tzalash צל"ש- צבא לשם שמים that assists them with this.
Other soldiers can learn a lot from the energy & determination these guys have.

Chag Sameach to the Israeli Druze for their holiday of their Prophet Shu'ayb called Ziyara. These guys are our brothers in arms, so much so that even on their holiday they raise Israeli flags along with their own.
Their dedication to IDF and police service is off the charts. All respect to you and enjoy your festival.

Some info about the Israeli Druze, regarding IDF service, that you may not know.
I am sure you are aware of how awesome the Israeli Druze are & how they are by far the most dedicated non-Jews who serve in the IDF, & I mean no disrespect to the Israeli Arabs who serve in the IDF. There are only ~143,000 of them in the entire country out of ~9 million, yet 80% of their males serve in combat units, many in the most elite units too.
What I bet you may not be aware of is the following: When Israel was formed, Ben Gurion and the IDF chief of staff made a decision to make IDF military service non-mandatory for all Arabs & all Druze and this remained this way until 1956 when the leader of the Druze at the time demanded that the state change the law for Druze explicitly to make it mandatory for their sons to serve, it was accepted and has been a compulsory service for males since 1956 according to the IDF draft law & has been that way ever since. If that isn't dedication I don't know what is.

Ever wondered how Pallywood works?
Out of context and to the uninformed, the video on the left looks like a pretty crazy brutal scene right? "Unarmed kid shot dead while religious Jews curse him".
Until you see the video on the right, the making of a real movie scene about the terrorist named Ahmed Manasra.
Yet video number 1 will be out there as "truth".

Mazal tov to Israeli Muslim Bedouin combat soldier named Sahar Kabiya, who is the younger brother of my friend Mohammad Kabiya for receiving a certificate for outstanding service from the commander of the division. Sahar is in the Paratroopers brigade (Tzanchanim) and was awarded this on the occasion of the 74th Independence Day.
Looks like it definitely runs in the family when it comes to the Kabiyas.
