Amazing!! A new synagogue was built in the neighborhood of Kalanim in Beer Sheva and they named it after a fallen Golani IDF combat soldier named Corporal Uzi Peretz.

On the 22nd of Sivan 5755 (June 29, 2005), Uzi fell in an operation at the "Dalia" post in the Mount Dov sector by Lebanon. An IDF force identified a squad of Hezbollah terrorists who had infiltrated Israeli territory, fired at them and hit one of the terrorists.
Immediately afterwards, the terrorists fired many mortar shells at IDF outposts on Mount Dov. Uzi ran to reinforce a friend who was guarding inside the outpost when one of the mortars landed on the outpost turret and exploded, and he was killed on the spot. Four other soldiers were injured in the incident.
Uzi, who always declared "I love my country and I will die for it" did not have time to finish his service and did not know that his words would come true and become a bitter and painful reality.
Uzi was nineteen and a half years old when he fell.

Israeli Christian Arab and ex-IDF vet יוסף חדאד - Yoseph Haddad went to give a speech to over 2000 Canadians.

He asks "how much do lies about Israel contribute to antisemitism and incitement?" Watch this video and you will understand.
This is great!! Dr. Miriam Edelson, the wife of the late and great right wing American billionaire Sheldon Adelson, inaugurated 150 new ambulance bikes of Ichud Hatzalah (United Hatzlah).

The new motorcycles belong to the Opinolence Unit sponsored by Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Edelson.

Dr. Edelson said the following to the volunteers: "Every single soul saved from the Natoin of Israel is as if he saved the whole world."

Thank you Mr & Mrs Adelson for you great contribution!
Last night IDF performed retaliatory attacks in Gaza in response to the continued incendiary balloons being sent to Israel which are causing many fires and costing us a lot in damages.
These are 2 different events that took place in Israel for the same person, 13 year old Almog who celebrated his bar mitzvah...every society has negative things BUT not every society has amazing people like Israelis who do whatever they can to right wrongs.

Telegram doesnt allow me to write a lot in this description so I cannot fit it all in so to learn about what happened here, please start with this:

The organization called Osey Chayil עושי חיל - "הבית לחייל החרדי הבודד", run by Aharon Granot, which I posted about before are doing great things all the time. They take in males and females from the Haredi community who want to join the IDF against the wishes of their parents and community and so they are considered as Chayalim Bodedim (Lone soldiers) due to them getting zero support from their families and often times their families don't even know they are doing this.

See this for context: https://www.facebook.com/ugobey/posts/10164764455830441

The Charedi community are mixed between those who support the IDF and those who would rather ex-communicate their own children than send them to the IDF to serve.
This is the latest ex-Haredi woman who decided to brave it and join the IDF against her parent's and community's wishes. This org took her into one of their homes for lone Haredi soldiers. All, if not most, of these soldiers join combat or intelligence roles, they excel beyond what most do.

Well done!

This is very sad to listen to.
As you sit securely in your comfortable homes, they risk their lives on the battlefield, fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon. But unlike their comrades in arms, who go home each weekend to a warm and loving home, a welcoming family and a supportive society, these young Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) men have no home to return to. Their parents threw them out of the house because they decided to enlist in the Israel Defense Forces. The fanatics in the society into which they were born call them Hardakim, a demeaning term resembling the Hebrew word for “insects.”

It is for these soldiers – the Haredi fighters who choose to join the IDF – that Osey Chail – The Association for Haredi Soldiers - was established.
