This is not a Purim costume. This is Menachem Mendel, a yeshiva student in Zhytomyr Ukraine who was drafted as a soldier in the Ukrainian army at the front. Here he is seen putting on tefillin and praying. May he be successful and come home alive.

Absolutely amazing reception 2 days ago as a large crowd greeted a group of Jewish Ukrainian refugees who arrived in Israel on a United Hatzalah rescue flight from Moldova.

Last night while Jews were all celebrating Purim in Israel, our IDF combat soldiers came under attack by the "Palestinian" Arab town known as Akraba which is near Shchem (Nablus).

Always respect them, they risk their lives so you can be safe no matter the occasion.
