I want to thank all the people at my company, Contentsquare, who donated to and packed items for the charity project I volunteer for called β€œGiving is a gift”, for Purim. πŸ™ I made this short video to show the efforts.

The gifts will go to families in need and single moms, which we will be personally delivering to their homes. Many other places donated also such as schools and organizations, so the combined efforts will bring much joy the families and kids of the families we support. ❀️

If you want to donate:
100% of the donations go to the families we help, not one shekel goes to anyone in the project, not even for fuel, we pay for our own and use our own cars and time.

If you live in Israel please feel free to donate via Paybox to this group I opened: https://payboxapp.page.link/Fvt1ehehfLj97qSq7

If you live abroad then the only way is via PayPal: https://paypal.me/ugobey

"All the beginnings are from Purim"

We are nearing Purim and Purim is a powerful time of new beginnings. Purim is NOT a kid's holiday, it is NOT just a fun holiday. Purim IS one of the most powerful and significant holidays for ALL Jews, young and old.

So in the spirit of getting in the mood for Purim, I suggest listening to this great song by Rabbi Shalom Arush called "Ma'she Haya Haya" (What's past is past, the important thing is to start anew)

This means be happy everyday, start fresh everyday, don't hold grudges or hatred in your heart, be thankful, be happy and enjoy life! We are obligated to be happy by Torah standards and in the month of Adar even more so.

For those who don't know Rabbi Arush is a Moroccan Jew who served in the IDF as an airborne combat medic, taking part in many missions, including missions during the Yom Kippur War in 1973. During that time, five of his closest friends were killed in a helicopter crash while carrying out an army mission.

My kind of "International Women's Day"

In Israel we don't really have such a divide between men and women as much as other states have but it is probably because everyone, including females, joins the IDF or Magav. Not all become combat soldiers but many do and they train as hard and take the same risks as men.

Women in Israel are respected all the same as men. I can't speak for the Arab society as they have issues but that isn't an Israeli problem, that is their cultural problem.

Kol HaKavod to our lionesses!
