Absolutely amazing!!
This lady is Raissa, she is a Holocaust survivor who made aliyah from the Ukraine.
In the Ukraine, after the Holocaust, she made a new life for herself and built up a family. After surviving the Nazis, she went through another war, the current war in Ukraine but her amazing granddaughters called for help, they called the Israeli Rescue Union (Ichud Hatzala) and they came to her rescue in Moldova. They located Raissa and brought her to their refugee camp and then to Israel where she belongs.
What a life she has lived and what a journey she has been through, only to be brought back home to Israel.
Now if only all Jews would skip having to go through all this and just come home to Israel, then you wont have to go through this also one day (it will happen believe me, maybe not to you but definitely your future family, so do it for them).

Touching moments!
Minutes before the start of Shabbat (on Friday night), a group of Ukrainian refugees who crossed the border to Romania lit Shabbat candles to bring in the Shabbat.
In the pic on the right members of the Israel Rescue Union (Ichud Hatzala) also lit Shabbat candles to bring in the Shabbat.

Amazing stuff!
This is Vadim Motzak, a 95-year-old Holocaust survivor from Ukraine. His dream was to pray by and touch the stones of the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
The people of the Western Wall Heritage Fund accompanied him with great excitement, prayed along with him and presented him with a book of Tehilim (Psalms).
