A religious Haredi man prays at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, with a Ukrainian and Israeli flag on him, for the people affected by the war in Ukraine.

So much for that stigma that Haredim don't care for the flag of Israel or other countries.

Gotta love Israel, wherever you go you can see quotes from the Torah. It says "VeAvta Larecha Kamocha" which means "Love your fellow as yourself". It's the key to Jewish unity.

I took this one today at Kaplan hospital after paying a visit.

Last Sunday I invited Dr Mordechai Kedar to a live discussion, on a Youtube channel called Jewminati which I know the founders of, and the topic was the Muslim Brotherhood. Here is a short clip about the Muslim Brotherhood's America Plan which was written in 1991. The 2nd clip explains a little about the cancel culture that exists in Academia today. You can see the full discussion from the 2nd link below.

Dr Kedar has agreed to another live discussion, as this topic is complex, so stay tuned. I have also invited Professor Richard Landes, he will join at the end of the month.

To see the first video on Youtube use this link: https://youtu.be/Hum3arIo3gU (I highly recommend subscribing to this channel, they have super important and interesting discussions and which I believe is an important channel for those who want to understand topics about Israel , the left, anti-Semitism etc in detail.)

Here was my original post advertising this event: https://www.facebook.com/ugobey/posts/10166340694895441

Absolutely amazing!!

This lady is Raissa, she is a Holocaust survivor who made aliyah from the Ukraine.

In the Ukraine, after the Holocaust, she made a new life for herself and built up a family. After surviving the Nazis, she went through another war, the current war in Ukraine but her amazing granddaughters called for help, they called the Israeli Rescue Union (Ichud Hatzala) and they came to her rescue in Moldova. They located Raissa and brought her to their refugee camp and then to Israel where she belongs.

What a life she has lived and what a journey she has been through, only to be brought back home to Israel.

Now if only all Jews would skip having to go through all this and just come home to Israel, then you wont have to go through this also one day (it will happen believe me, maybe not to you but definitely your future family, so do it for them).

Touching moments!

Minutes before the start of Shabbat (on Friday night), a group of Ukrainian refugees who crossed the border to Romania lit Shabbat candles to bring in the Shabbat.

In the pic on the right members of the Israel Rescue Union (Ichud Hatzala) also lit Shabbat candles to bring in the Shabbat.

Amazing stuff!

This is Vadim Motzak, a 95-year-old Holocaust survivor from Ukraine. His dream was to pray by and touch the stones of the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

The people of the Western Wall Heritage Fund accompanied him with great excitement, prayed along with him and presented him with a book of Tehilim (Psalms).
