Amazing stuff!!
About two weeks ago, a fire broke out in an apartment on Jordan River Street in Ramat Beit Shemesh Bet and as a result, a lot of damage was done to one of the apartments.
The family members were left without anything, they had no place to stay. The family turned to the management of the Rescue Union in Beit Shemesh for help and guidance on how to return to their home, with the main difficulty being cleaning the apartment from the soot.
Rescue Union volunteers from the Beit Shemesh branch joined forces with business owners in the area to donate a washing machines and other materials and tonight, volunteers from the branch arrived at the home and began cleaning it.
These volunteers took the opportunity to perform an unusual act of kindness beyond their daily activities of saving lives.
