Writing this post with tears as I personally knew this hero police officer named Itamar Alus z"l who passed away this weekend from medical problems.
On October 7th in Ofakim, he bravely fought against 15 elite Hamas terrorists with nothing but a pistol & limited ammo and he also saved the lives of 6 people and prevented many more deaths.
I filmed this video of him when he spoke on the tour bus of the previous Jewish Brotherhood Mission in Feb 2025.
May his memory be for a blessing
