The NYPD made this post on their Facebook account with some nice words about how they are protecting the Jewish community etc....
"currently no specific or credible threat" but have multiple heavily armed officers with military grade weapons outside the synagogue!
My comment to them on the thread was the following:
"Don't take my words as an attack on you fine officers but it's absurd that the NYPD thinks this is normal - you dont need to protect Muslim events and places, but you do need to protect Jewish and Christian ones, I wonder why that is????????
