For those who have been waiting to know the fate of the 5 year old Moroccan boy, Rayan, who fell down a dry well 5 days ago and has been trapped in there since, well I just watched a live feed of them taking him out of the well from a huge rescue operation.
Unfortunately he is dead.
Well done to the people involved in this great rescue attempt! May your children never experience such things.

Not sure how I missed this one but its really amazing! It's from around 2018 but timeless.
This is famous Dutch violinist & conductor Andre Rieu and his son Pierre Rieu who came to Tel Aviv to give an orchestral performance at the Menora Mivtachim Arena. They played the famous Yerushalayim Shel Zahav song and it touched all the people in the audience.
Pierre's grandmother, Nelly Eymael, saved the lives of many Jews during the Holocaust. She was in the Dutch resistance and risked her life by helping Jews. The family are not Jewish so would be considered as the Righteous among the Nations.
Very touching!

I have noticed there is a very judgemental trend coming from many Jews who say disgusting things about Haredim because most of them don't serve in the IDF, truly despicable things they say and this has to stop. What these people haven't realised is that this is literally their Israeli state given democratic right.

This was Naomi Perlman, a 91-year-old Holocaust survivor from Ashkelon who was severly injured by a rocket that hit her home during the last war with Gaza known as Operation "Guardian of the Walls" in May 2021. The same attack killed her 32 year old Indian foreign worker who was looking after her, her name was Sahomi Sandush.
Noami lost her legs in the attack after the rocket caused severe damage to her legs and her body was covered in shrapnel. She has been going through a lot of intensive care since then but her body gave up and she passed away today.
May her memory be a blessing!
