WOW I am in shock!! I only found out this news now by chance!

An ultra-Orthodox singer named Eliezer Botzer, who built a secular following with his long-running Botzer Project, died in a car accident in 2024 on the way home from IDF reserve duty.

This was my favourite song of his called Tzion (Zion)

While proud of his Orthodox upbringing, his music assimilates traditional culture with secular musical styles. With roaring guitar solos, blinding strobe lights and jumps into the audience, Botzer redefines the definition of a Jewish rocker. He was also one to spread Jewish unity.

He left behind 8 kids and his wife.
