Next week is Rosh Hashana and we are in the period known as Slichot (forgiveness) whereby every morning around 4am (or after midnight for some people) we go to the synagogue and recite many prayers for forgiveness leading us up to Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur

This is a prayer we sing called Adon HaSlichot

And another version of the prayer Adon HaSlichot which we sing during the Slichot period but is not sung this way, these guys made their own version of it but still nice.

Israel's ground-based high-power laser defence system known as Iron Beam will be deployed by the end of this year

The R&D Unit within the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) Directorate of Defense Research & Development (DDR&D), the Israeli Air Force (IAF), and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems have successfully completed a series of tests lasting several weeks, demonstrating the capabilities of the Iron Beam high-power laser system, with Elbit Systems serving as a project partner manufacturing the laser source.
