This was 41 year old Col. Ehsan Daqsa, a Druze commander of the IDF’s 401st Armored Brigade, from the Druze town of Daliyat al-Karmel who was killed in action in Gaza.

He received a military citation for his amazing efforts in the 2nd Lebanon war and is the highest ranking Druze officer to fall in battle.
