While this meme is funny and 100% true, Jews, New Years Eve is NOT our holiday.
We don't celebrate it just as we don't celebrate Xmas and other holidays unrelated to us. I used to celebrate it and I know many of you do too as you think it's not a big deal but if you learnt the history of New Years in connection with Jews you will want to throw up and will never celebrate it again.
In Israel Jews call New Years Eve “The Sylvester” which was the name of the “Saint” and Roman Pope who reigned during the Council of Nicaea (325 C.E.). The year before the Council of Nicaea convened, Sylvester convinced Constantine to prohibit Jews from living in Jerusalem.

A terrorist got out of his vehicle, armed with a knife and ran towards the bus station where civilians and IDF soldiers were standing. The troops fired towards the terrorist and killed him.

Today 2 rockets were fired from Gaza to Tel Aviv and landed in the sea...Hamas claims it was a mistake due to the weather but the IDF doesn't believe them and so are preparing a retaliation.

Many contemporary Islamic scholars Mohammed Abu Zayd and Abdul Hadi Palazzi are claiming that it is the false Palestinian claim to Jerusalem that is causing the current violent rifts in Islam. Syria, Yemen, Libya, Iraq, Lebanon and the Sahel region in Africa are just a few examples where Islam is committing self-inflicting atrocities. Scholars are suggesting that such immoral behavior will continue until the false Palestinian claims to Jerusalem are erased from the current Islamic narrative.
