Last night an IDF helicopter crashed in Gaza after some technical fault occurred while landing, it was not shot down.
Unfortunately 2 IDF soldiers were killed and several were injured. Their names will be announced later.

This IDF combat soldier who was in the process of converting to Judaism, requested that the Beit Din (Jewish Court) allow him to convert before he goes into the war in Gaza.
They accepted his request and he completed the conversion. In the picture he is reciting the shema prayer which is customary after reciting the oaths which is a part of the conversion.
